A Sketch of AI Agent Hack 2026
With the rapid advancement of AI technology, Artificial Intelligence has become an indispensable part of both our daily lives and our work. In step with these changes, Penta Security actively supports our employees in utilizing AI directly and developing their capabilities. Following the success of ‘VibeHack 2025‘ last year, we hosted a more evolved, two-day AI coding hackathon from June 11 to 12 this year.
Here are some highlights of Penta Security’s special event: AI Agent Hack 2026.
Overcoming Roles and Connecting Ideas
This year’s hackathon brought together employees from various departments, including planning, development, and design. Building on the enthusiastic response to last year’s VibeHack 2025, a total of 16 teams—including 5 courageous solo participants—entered the fierce competition.
- Day 1: Participants jumped straight into full-scale development, bringing their abstract ideas into reality.
- Day 2: A representative from each team presented their finished projects.
The presentations were broadcast live online, allowing employees who couldn’t attend in person to watch and cheer in real time. Thanks to the passion of the participants who poured their hearts into everything from planning to development and presentation over the two days, the hackathon concluded as a massive success.
Beyond Technology: Shifting the Paradigm of How We Work
The purpose of this hackathon extends far beyond simply strengthening technical skills. It was an opportunity to rethink and improve repetitive daily tasks and explore the potential to take our products to the next level through AI.

This event served as a catalyst for experiencing that culture firsthand and boosting company-wide productivity.
The AI agent projects presented at the hackathon were evaluated based on three main criteria:
- Creativity & Problem-solving Skills
- Technical Utilization & Implementation
- Feasibility & Expected Benefits
The outstanding AI agent projects selected from this event will be integrated into actual workflows to enhance efficiency across all roles at Penta Security.
