CEO Taegyun Kim emphasized that Penta Security has reached another important turning point as it celebrates its 29th anniversary.
As AI technology advances rapidly, cyberattacks are becoming faster, more sophisticated, and larger in scale. As a result, cybersecurity is no longer an optional component. Instead, it has become essential infrastructure for protecting the safety of the digital world.
We have entered an era in which data protection can determine both corporate survival and national competitiveness. Therefore, Penta Security intends to transform these changes into greater opportunities rather than viewing them as threats.
To become a company that creates change instead of merely responding to it, Penta Security introduced a clear strategic direction: becoming an AI-centered, or AI-native, company.
We do not view AI simply as a tool for improving operational efficiency. Instead, we are making it part of our corporate DNA and integrating it across our entire portfolio of products and services, including encryption, web security, authentication security, and cloud security. Through this approach, Penta Security aims to strengthen its AI-native cybersecurity capabilities and deliver greater value to customers worldwide.
CEO Kim also emphasized that AI is not a technology designed to replace people. Rather, it is a technology that expands human capabilities. He reaffirmed his belief that people remain Penta Security’s greatest competitive advantage.

Celebrating 29 Years and Thanking Those Who Made It Possible: Long-Service Awards
Penta Security has continued to grow steadily over the past 29 years because of the employees who have remained committed to the company throughout its journey.
To express its appreciation, Penta Security recognizes long-serving employees at its anniversary celebration every year. This year, the company honored one employee for 20 years of service, 14 employees for 10 years of service, and 14 employees for five years of service.
The recipient of this year’s 20-year service award has played a particularly important role in developing products that have achieved leadership in the Korean market and expanded into international markets. The recipient’s passion and dedication added even greater meaning to the years of shared growth with the company.
The individual efforts of employees who have contributed over many years have come together to shape the Penta Security of today. Once again, we extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to all long-serving employees.
