Healthtech Firm Xsolis Suffers from Data Breach Impacting 1.4M

Xsolis says that sensitive data belonging to nearly 1.4 million individuals was compromised in a phishing attack that gave attackers access to its network. Xsolis data breach investigation found that the attackers had accessed certain files within the Xsolis environment containing customer information, including names, addresses, birthdates, health insurance information, Social Security numbers, and medical treatment information. Although any attempted misuse of the exposed information is not yet confirmed, affected individuals need to stay alert for potential targeted attacks.

Klue Data Breach Impacts Several Cybersecurity Firms

A breach at business intelligence provider Klue, detected on June 12, enabled hackers to compromise several cybersecurity firms, including Huntress, Recorded Future, Jamf, and Tanium. Attackers exploited a legacy credential to steal OAuth tokens from the Klue Battlecards app, gaining unauthorized access to clients’ Salesforce accounts and exfiltrating sensitive customer data. The cyber extortion group Icarus claimed responsibility, threatening to release the stolen data.

Tata Electronics Under Data Breach

Tata Electronics, a major Indian manufacturer and supplier to Apple and Tesla, has confirmed a cybersecurity breach. The announcement follows a hacker forum listing claiming to hold over 630GB of stolen data, including Apple supplier specifications and Tesla manufacturing documents. While Tata Electronics stated its operations remain unaffected, reports indicate the company has notified some assembly employees, Apple is investigating, and a ransom demand has been made.

Trump Orders Post-Quantum Migration by 2030

US federal agencies will have to complete their post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration by 2030, or 2031 at the latest depending on use cases. In a new executive order (EO), Trump issued requirements designed to help accelerate the migration to quantum-safe technologies. In addition to these deadlines, the EO requires the US Department of Commerce to immediately initiate a pilot project for PQC migration and to complete it by December 31, 2027.
