Delegation from PWA Thailand Visits Penta Security
Penta Security, a specialized cybersecurity company, has expanded its international cooperation in smart water infrastructure security by discussing public infrastructure cybersecurity collaboration with a high-level delegation from Thailand’s Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA).
On May 20, Penta Security announced that a top-level delegation, including the Governor of Thailand’s PWA, visited its headquarters in Seoul, Korea. During the visit, the two parties discussed public cybersecurity cooperation models essential for Thailand’s nationwide water supply network modernization project and the establishment of smart systems.
The visit took place against the backdrop of the growing importance of critical national infrastructure security as the Thai government pushes forward with modernizing its water supply network and building smart infrastructure. The 13-member high-level delegation included the PWA Governor and the regional directors of all nine regional offices across Thailand.
The delegation reportedly expressed keen interest in potential security threats and response frameworks within smart cities and advanced public infrastructure environments.
