Anthropic Launches Project Glasswing Based on Claude Mythos

Anthropic has launched Project Glasswing based on Claude Mythos. It is an initiative which uses AI to identify and remediate undiscovered cybersecurity vulnerabilities in critical software. The company described the model as the “most capable yet for coding and agentic tasks” and that it can “deeply understand and modify complex software,” allowing Claude Mythos Preview to autonomously find and fix cybersecurity vulnerabilities at scale. In testing, the model discovered thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities which had not previously been identified.

OpenAI Unveils GPT-5.4-Cyber

OpenAI on Tuesday unveiled GPT-5.4-Cyber, a variant of its latest flagship model fine-tuned specifically for defensive cybersecurity work, following rival Anthropic’s ‌ announcement of frontier AI model Mythos. OpenAI said that GPT-5.4-Cyber will initially be rolled out on a limited basis to vetted security vendors, organizations and researchers because of its more permissive design.

Rockstar Games Under Data Breach by ShinyHunters

Rockstar Games has suffered a data breach linked to a recent security incident at Anodot, with the ShinyHunters extortion gang now leaking the stolen data on its data leak site. The threat actors claim the data was taken from Snowflake environments using authentication tokens stolen during a recent Anodot security incident. The leaked data includes in-game revenue and purchase metrics, player behavior tracking, and game economy data for Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online. The datasets also appear to contain customer support analytics for the company’s Zendesk support instance.

Booking.com Under Data Breach

Booking.com has suffered a data breach with “unauthorised parties” gaining access to customers’ details. Booking.com declined to say how many people the hack had affected. A spokesperson said that “financial information was not accessed”. Attackers could access information including booking details and names, emails, addresses, phone numbers associated with the booking and anything that has been shared with the accommodation.
