Hims & Hers Support System Hacked, Exposing Support Tickets

Hims & Hers has confirmed a data breach affecting its third-party customer service platform. The company said hackers broke into its third-party ticketing system between February 4 and February 7 and stole reams of support tickets, which contained personal information submitted by customers. Although the company says customer medical records were not affected, the nature of customer support systems means that the data may contain sensitive information

Snowflake Customers Hit in Data Theft Attacks

Over a dozen companies of Snowflake customers have fallen victim to data theft following a security breach at the third-party SaaS integrator Anodot. The extortion group ShinyHunters claimed responsibility, using stolen authentication tokens to bypass security and exfiltrate sensitive information. While Snowflake confirmed that its own systems were not compromised, it has locked down affected accounts as a precaution. On the other hand, the attackers also attempted to target Salesforce but were reportedly blocked by AI-driven detection systems.

ShinyHunters Claims Cisco Data Breach

The hacking group ShinyHunters claims to have breached Cisco, allegedly stealing over three million Salesforce records, AWS buckets, and GitHub repositories. The intrusion, reportedly executed across three separate cyberattacks, involved voice phishing (vishing) to compromise employee credentials and bypass multi-factor authentication. While Cisco confirmed an investigation into unauthorized access to a CRM instance, it stated the exposed data primarily contains basic account profile information and no sensitive proprietary code or passwords were compromised.
