[Penta Inside] Pentasecurity Participates in GISEC 2025, the Middle East and Africa’s Largest Exhibition

GISEC 2025

Penta Security participated in GISEC 2025, the largest cybersecurity exhibition in the Middle East and Africa, held in Dubai.

The Middle East security market, centered around Dubai, is experiencing robust growth at an annual average rate of 9.6%, fueled by rapid economic development, digital transformation, smart city initiatives, and IT infrastructure expansion across public and financial sectors. Particularly noteworthy is the surge in demand for security solutions such as zero trust and data encryption, as governments strengthen policy support through national cybersecurity strategies and expanded investments in critical infrastructure security. In response to these market opportunities, Penta Security participated in the exhibition to showcase its solutions in the Middle East cybersecurity market and engage with various partners and customers.

GISEC 2025

Under the theme “AI-Based Future,” GISEC 2025 brought together over 25,000 security experts, more than 750 global security brands, over 450 CISOs, and more than 350 speakers from over 160 countries. The event featured discussions on the latest cyber threats, AI and blockchain-based security technologies, and practical defense strategies, alongside diverse programming including innovative startup networking sessions, hacking contests, and real-time demonstrations. At the exhibition, Penta Security showcased its cryptographic platform D.AMO, intelligent WAAP solution WAPPLES, and Cloudbric WAF+, Korea’s first web security SaaS offering. The company’s booth attracted numerous visitors and received positive responses, reflecting the growing demand for security solutions in the Middle East market.

In particular, customers in the Middle East showed strong interest in D.AMO, Penta Security’s cryptographic platform. The region’s rapid digital transformation and IT infrastructure expansion have heightened cybersecurity risks, while governments are simultaneously strengthening data protection and cybersecurity regulations as they roll out large-scale IT initiatives such as smart city projects. For instance, since January 2022, the UAE government has been enforcing the Protection of Personal Data Law (PDPL) for all organizations processing personal information both domestically and internationally. With each country in the region implementing its own GDPR-level data protection regulations, demand and interest in comprehensive data security solutions are growing rapidly. Consequently, Penta Security conducted meetings with promising partners and various clients, including banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and government agencies, to explore in-depth business opportunities in the region.

D.AMO

The cryptographic platform D.AMO provides comprehensive data security features including encryption across all layers of IT systems in diverse environments, along with key management, access control, auditing, and monitoring capabilities to ensure secure data protection. The platform offers a diverse product portfolio that can be optimized and deployed according to customer system architectures to maximize both performance and security.

WAPPLES

WAPPLES is an intelligent WAAP (Web Application and API Protection) solution that provides not only traditional web firewall capabilities but also essential web security functions including API security, bot mitigation, and DoS defense. Having maintained the #1 market share in Korea’s web firewall market for 17 consecutive years, WAPPLES utilizes its proprietary intelligent detection engine (COCEP) to respond immediately to emerging web attack patterns.

Cloudbric WAF+

Cloudbric WAF+ is Korea’s first web security SaaS solution. It enables quick and simple deployment through DNS configuration changes alone, without requiring agent or module installation. The platform provides essential enterprise web security services on a single platform, including web application firewall, malicious bot mitigation, DDoS protection, threat IP blocking, and SSL/TLS certificate issuance. Even non-security experts can easily monitor their website’s security status through an intuitive dashboard. This direct security visibility allows users to identify what types of attacks are targeting their websites and how frequently they occur.

The importance of cybersecurity continues to grow as the digital landscape evolves rapidly, driven by increasing cloud adoption and the global proliferation of Generative AI. This exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to introduce Penta Security’s security solutions to numerous stakeholders in the Middle East market. Moving forward, Penta Security will continue to rapidly expand its presence in the Middle East and African cybersecurity markets while actively pursuing global initiatives beyond the domestic market. We appreciate your continued interest and support.
